Is there anything weird with the system time? I believe the process that cleans up logs looks at the last modification time of each log file and compares it to the current date/time. If it is more than the number of days specified it deletes them.

FWIW, an earlier log pasted made it obvious you were using an old version of Edge and I do believe there was a bug in the log cleanup fixed a long time ago if you set the value to 30 or greater. Specifically this bug was fixed in 2.0 (current release is 2.3):
