viewing history of a merged branch in trunk

Message Hi folks,

wondering is this possible. we regularly merge other branches into trunk (as one does!). The history of the file in trunk only contains the merge "event". ie If there were multiple versions of the file in the branches history..we don't get to see them in the trunk.

Of course I can (and do) go to the branch and see the history there, but it would be very very handy to be able to do see this from the history in trunk. (using your eclipse plugin by the way)
