Message Hi guys,

Sorry for being a complete newb, but I could do with some advice. We are running SVN on a Windows 2k3 box. SVN is version 1.7.3, software version 2.3.0

For the last few weeks, the service seems to restart at 00.05 every night, but fails to come back to life. If we try and check the logs, the access, error and subversion logs tell us we are not allowed access, and have the time stamp of 00.05. If we manually restart the service, all is well. From there, the Error log shows

[Fri Mar 16 06:58:44 2012] [notice] Apache/2.2.16 (Win32) DAV/2 SVN/1.6.16 configured -- resuming normal operations

[Fri Mar 16 06:58:45 2012] [notice] Child 712: Starting thread to listen on port 8666.

Nothing shows in the other logs until we start to use the SVN server. There's nothing notable in the Event logs.

Any ideas on what I should check for / do next.

If we stop the CSVN service, the 3 logs are removed, so we never have a history of what has happened.

Any help is welcomed.
