Yes, I surely understand that one should read a user's
guide before running a setup program. I usually do so, but
now I have no time, the server must be running on Monday.
That's why I posted this S.O.S.

Yes, that's I was asking for - a scenario, a scheme of
secure setup for access from outside without vulnerability
for internal LAN, as well as from inside. Is there any?

Thank you for the short and detailed explanation of
Subversion architecture.

I've tried to install it right by readme, step-by-step, and
faced the following problems.
1. after starting Apache (step 6), the console doesn't
returns to a prompt, it seems like hanging program, but
there're 2 apache.exe processes in the Task Manager.
2. when trying checkout (step 7) the following error occurs:
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/TestProject'
svn: PROPFIND of '/svn/TestProject': 405 Method Not Allowed
(http://localhost)

Why Apache should be run as an application, but not as a
service? Can I install usual Apache that runs as a service?
Will your Subversion work with it?

Thank you.
